Today Keep Food Legal is launching our first-ever membership drive. We want you to join us!
As a nonprofit, nonpartisan, nationwide membership organization, Keep Food Legal's strength is our Members--people like you. Farmers. Chefs. Restaurateurs. Foodies. Gardeners. Brewers. Vintners. Grocers. Entrepreneurs. Home cooks. You.
Keep Food Legal is your united voice. Your advocate for culinary freedom at the local, state, and federal level. Join together by joining Keep Food Legal.
If you believe that every American should have the right to grow, raise, produce, buy, sell, cook, and eat the foods of their own choosing, then we urge you to join Keep Food Legal today.
Why join Keep Food Legal? Everyone who donates will receive our regular eNewsletter. Everyone who becomes a Member secures the right to vote in board elections. And if you donate at least $75, we'll even send you free stuff plastered with our spork logo.
What's it take to become an annual Member of Keep Food Legal? Just $40. Better still, you can earn "Founding Member" status by donating at least $100.
We've made donating easy. You can become a Member at our secure donation page by using either your credit card or by donating through PayPal. Heck, you can even contact us by email if you'd prefer to send a check via snail mail.
In any event, donating takes just a minute. Please join us today.
Keep Food Legal, the first and only nationwide membership organization devoted to culinary freedom, is a tax-exempt organization under IRS § 501(c)(4), and is incorporated as a nonprofit under Washington, DC law. Donations to § 501(c)(4) groups, including Keep Food Legal, are not tax deductible under IRS § 170(c)(2).
While your donation to Keep Food Legal is not tax-deductible, we like to think of your donation as tax-reductible. How's that? Well, because Keep Food Legal advocates against intrusive government regulations and subsidies pertaining to food, donating to Keep Food Legal could ultimately help to reduce government spending and taxes. Hence, a tax reductible donation.
